Tator Tot Casserole

My mom made this all my life growing up, and I love it. A few weeks ago, I just started craving this particular dish. I described it to Casey and he kind of scrunched up his nose at the sound of it so I didn't make it for awhile. Finally, I HAD to make it, I NEEDED it so badly. :)

Needless to say, but it was delicious!  Casey even enjoyed it and helped polish off the leftovers over the next couple of days. :)
Here's the recipe:
-1 bag frozen tator tots
-1 large can of Pork and Beans
-1 can cream of mushroom soup
-1 can cream of celery soup
-1lb ground turkey, or beef
-1 bag shredded cheese (my mom was appalled I added cheese, but Casey and I both agreed it was a great add!)

1. Brown your ground meat of choice, I season mine a little with seasoning salt, pepper, and maybe a touch of garlic salt.
2. Mix the browned meat, and both cans of soup together and spread along the bottom of a 9x13 pan
3. Add a layer of beans over the soup/meat mixture
4. *optional* add a layer of shredded cheese over beans
5. Line the top with tator tots until the whole pan is covered.
6. Follow the cooking directions on the bag of tator tots for oven temp and length of time!

Eat up, and I hope you enjoy!!

Two Recipes That Save My Husband From Starving and Mac and Cheese

I will have to take pictures next time I make these two dishes because they are delish. And amazing. And cheap. And easy. Need any more info?

1. Italian Meatballs and Mushroom Sauce
This recipe literally takes 3 minutes to prep, its that wonderful.
-Grab your crockpot throw in one can of french onion soup and one can of cream of mushroom soup.
-Stir soups together then add italian seasoned meatballs (I buy pre-cooked/seasoned meatballs at HEB, about 16oz/bag, I think) and stir all three ingredients together.
-Set crockpot to low setting for about 2 hours. Now, I say two hours, really its just until the meatballs are warmed through. You can have a lot of play room here on time depending on you needs.
-Boil up some egg noodles and spoon meatballs and sauce over the top and enjoy!!!
Yes, its that easy.

2. Mushroom and Swiss Burgers
-Brown up some beef patties (or buy precooked beef patties from HEB) I use a frying pan on my stove because it allows for a future step!
-Sautee some sliced mushrooms with patties when they are almost done.
-Pour one can of cream of mushroom soup (NOT diluted!) over patties and mushrooms and allow to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
-Melt swiss cheese over patties after simmering.
-Place patties on bun and spoon some more mushroom soup on top and eat up!

And yes, I've been on a mushroom crave since becoming pregnant.
By the way, I found these recipes on allrecipes.com. Wonderful site.
